Techs and the City

It all began when I was a young, up-and-coming technology company working in the city, providing UK businesses with innovative solutions to problems they experience every day. I was desperate to make a big splash in a rather over-crowded pond, but I was well aware that I didn’t have the resource to do it myself. I knew I needed PR, and needed it quickly, but just like any fabulous pair of shoes, I also knew it wasn’t going to be cheap.
This is when I met Big PR; a London PR agency with big ideas, big talk and, as I expected, big fees. Big was attractive, exciting, and very much in charge. Big seemed to have limitless resources and took control at every turn, but to be honest, I was starting to find this a little overwhelming (as was my budget).
But then someone introduced me to Berkeley PR. Berkeley was passionate, proactive and a little bit pushy; at last, I’d found a PR agency that took the time and consideration to really listen to my needs and deliver what I wanted, working in a style that best suited me. I realised then that building a relationship with a PR agency didn’t have to be scary, intimidating, or cost me my shoe budget; it was a partnership that would help me generate the right exposure for my brand and allow me to stay in control.
When it comes to PR agencies, I couldn’t help but wonder – does size really matter?

(Apologies for the above – fuelled by my ongoing consumption of a shoe-box set of the entire series of Sex and the City DVDs – I couldn’t resist using the pun!)
