Dan Bowsher joined Berkeley PR in 2001 through the company’s graduate recruitment scheme and is now an account director based in the Reading office. Dan has established himself as a highly creative and focused member of the Berkeley PR team and has developed a track record for identifying and implementing proactive, targeted campaigns for his clients.
Dan’s client experience includes technology vendors, (such as Ricoh, Overland Storage, SurfControl and ActivIdentity); service providers, business consultancies, e-commerce, and online consumer resources.
In addition to his account responsibilities, Dan sits on the client services team, through which he runs an agency-wide journalist buddy programme to help Berkeley PR build stronger contacts with its target media. Through his client service role he is also helping to shape the creative processes that the agency uses to distinguish both itself and its clients from the competition.
“There’s nothing like the feeling of coming up with a new idea, developing it and seeing the results come through - that whole process can make the job incredibly rewarding. By challenging journalists, clients and colleagues to think about things from a different perspective, you can have a real impact on the quality of coverage that can be achieved.”
In the brief period between graduating and joining Berkeley PR, Dan worked at Majestic Wines. He has a BSc (Hons) in Communications & Society from Leicester University.
